She loves it -- I set it up for her email and made sure she had certain apps, like Solitaire and Grocery IQ and Weather Channel. She loves it. She doesn't use a lot of its functionality, but is very happy with what she does use. It's a perfect size for putting into her purse so she can read her e-books on the go (she also has a regular Best Price Dell XPS 8700 Desktop Frequency, so she can read on either device). I have an iPad but would definitely consider a Fire for myself when the iPad gives out (it's an iPad 1 and apparently is no longer supported by Apple -- boo, hiss to Apple for that!)
